Longtime collaborator Mihara Yasuhiro once again lends his design touch to his continuous PUMA capsule collection, and this season he's hoping to have yet another hit on his hands.
Always searching for slight shifts on traditional footwear design and construction, Mihara this season opted to tweak the aesthetic of the oft-used vulcanized midsole.
On most sneakers, the midsole rubber wraps along and folds onto itself along the medial side, but you'll notice the MY-61's wayward midsole veers on up through the lateral side's midfoot, making for quite the twist atop an otherwise standard Taylor and Era-esque uppers.
A high and low model featuring the creative tooling will be dropping soon, both featuring graphite and black faux reptile uppers and 3M hits along the heel.
As part of the brand's Black Label category, you can check for these to hit both online and at PUMA Black stores soon.
